FIT is a very good school. They just built some new dorms a few years ago and they are very nice. The student population is very nice. It is a small school so I consider it a small family. However, there are smaller schools out there. The student teacher ratio is fantastic and I rarely get classes with more than 30 students. The staff is very helpful, and my adviser has been a godsend. She helps me allot and I am sure same goes to all of the advisers at this school. I expected to be challenged and for the most part I have especially in the math courses however, this is not MIT. Don't expect the same level of research and internship opportunities however, the city makes up for most of that. It is Florida so its sunny most of the time and the campus is amazing.
