Your an idiot. This review is so wrong on subjective issues I had to respond to it less other people see it: Temple has several "green areas" on campus where I play frisbee with my friends all the time. And there are are 5 or six major outdoor common areas where kids hang out.If you dont want to go to a place with a ton of in-sate people why the heck would you apply to a big public university.FYI, I came from CT and didnt know asingle person when i cam here and I fit in fine |

So im coming to visit from los angeles and i wanted your opinion on being an out of state student. I'll also be transferring and I want to know more about the school and know if you think its worth it to come from 3000 miles away. Thanks! |
Its worth it. Great school. It was the lowest ranked school I got into (I went here because of my they offered me a great deal), and im trying to get into law school, AND IVE NEVER REGRETED IT! great prof. for the most part (have had some horrible ones though, but that true every where) |
Hey, i'm also coming to Temple class of '14 communications! i'm from boston, im definitely not gonna know anyone beforehand! |
Where in boston? (i lived in brighton for a while |
Hey u guys i'm transferring here from san diego and i'll i've seen on the reviews is that it is not in the safest part of town… i am a little skeptical about attending this school now. Can someone plz assure me that its not that bad. |

I am also coming from out of state, and I wanted to know how graduate housing is? Also, I've come upon reviews that the city is not that safe, is this the case? |
Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I just got accepted into Temple University. I went to visit it, and I must say I was impressed. It was overall a very nice school. However, I feel that as an out-of-state student, I would feel like an outsider there. Over 75% of the student body is in-state, and a lot of kids come to the university with a bunch of their high school friends. Additionally, Temple does not have much of a campus… It is right in the middle of Philly. A fun city, but honestly there's not much to the campus. No green or common area outdoors for the students to hang out.
