Major: Finance (This Major's Salary over time)
I am writing this after reading all of these negative comments written by arrogant freshman that hated this school because they couldn't party every day of the week. I am a senior finance major and quite frankly, I don't have any real complaints about this school. I knew coming here to expect that I wasn't going to be partying every night, which is totally fine now because I am a senior and trying to graduate!

I transferred here from another school with a completely different major. My previous school was certainly harder to get in to than Suffolk, but I honestly think Suffolk is a lot better academically. The Sawyer Business School is a well known business school in the New England area and it has brought me nothing but good things in my work life. I have had countless interviews with large investment firms in Boston, New York City, and other companies. At each of these interviews senior managers have told me that my finance program here is just as good as Bentley's or Northeastern's for that matter. I currently have an internship that has told me I will likely have a job waiting for me upon my graduation in December. So, unlike I have read, you can evidently get a job pretty easily coming out of Suffolk if you are in a program that is academically more accelerated than others.

I have learned a lot at Suffolk because I have picked the right teachers to take. If you are in the right major for you, you will get to know your teachers in the department and they will be very helpful to you. I cannot stress enough that you need to put in the work to actually learn a lot of things, but it is like that anywhere. Anyone can drift by at any school, I would certainly know. School is what you make of it and Suffolk University has certainly given me the tools to make the best out of my education here in Boston!
