Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
SVA is the best school if you want to get into movie animation or video game animation, hands down. Other schools like RISD, Otis, Ringling, Polytech, etc. are great visual design schools but SVA is the only school that give you actual opportunities to break into the movie industry by working with actual filmmakers even during your undergrad years. That plus it being in the greatest city on earth make it the ONLY choice for a young artist wanting to get into film animation in my opinion. I love it here!
