This is a good university and you will get a great job once you have finished. Career opportunities are all over the place with the internships in DC/tysons corner. I could have gone to Georgetown, but decided mason because of the price and it has solid academics. If you major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry or something else like these majors, you will be in the library studying hard a lot because they are all really challenging programs. If you major in a joke major like Psychology, Communications, History, or something easy like that, you won't be challenged and can party all the time. So pick which style you want.

Student life is pretty cool, basketball season is where its at in late fall/early spring. (nov-march). Plenty of pre-game parties and after game parties and the games are fun.

The facilities are quite amazing and upscale. Gym is perfect and not crowded like other campuses such as University of Maryland. Relaxed environment.

A lot of people go back home for the summer, so summer time is dead.

I wouldn’t call programs in the humanities and social sciences “joke” programs. You’ll find hardworking students in these fields as well, and unless you’ve majored in one of these areas, don’t assume it’s easy.
