Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm speaking strictly in part of the nursing department. Advising for nursing students is extremely helpful. I changed my declared major and the transition was extremely easy. As for classes, so far from what I've experienced, the science based classes are challenging and worth it in the end because you will get something out of it. However, certain humanities classes are really a waste of time. It just depends on the professor you get. There is NO crime on campus. Campus police does like to give tickets though. The campus is incredibly clean and it is a "Green" school. So that's cool. They try to do a lot of environmentally friendly things. It is a commuter school. I belive only 14% of the school dorms. And of course the surrounding area isn't Orlando/Miami/Tampa. It's pretty quiet. There are nightclubs though. You can find entertainment if you look for it. And there are plenty of clubs you can join. The students from what I have experienced so far are extremely friendly. You just have to at least say "hi" and start up a conversation. All in all, it's a good school. The professors for the most part are cool. The quality of education can depend on the major you're pursuing.
