Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I thought the school was pretty good especially for an international development and social change major. Some problems: the students are liberal but most are from a privileged upbringing with in my opinion sometimes a mis-skewed sense of reality. There were a fair number of international students which was neat. The campus is pretty, but there really isnt anywhere to escape to and there are weekly muggings due to the dangerous location of the city. Its sometimes a little hard for an out of state (west coast) student to get used to because it is a different life on the east. Ultimately even though I had over a 4.0 GPA and worked my butt off I wasnt given anymore aid and couldnt go for the next year. It was upsetting considering the motto is 'challenge convention change our world'-it seemed pretty conventional to me. I dont regret going there for a year but it costs more than its worth. Some classes are good others are terrible. If you cant really afford to go then DONT GO.
