Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
Love this school! It's been three years and as I now prepare for graduation I can't help but to think about how much I'll miss this place. Nowhere else would I have been as challenged intellectually as I have been here. Students are generally positive, optimistic, and supportive people. Professors are some of the best people I have ever met as well, but this is by design. I always ask around about which courses to take and who the best professors are. I haven't run into many unkind people here. I lived on campus three years so far and have never witnessed a fight- which speaks volumes in today's world. This place has a very gentle feel compared to other universities, but how could it not? The fountains, lake Michigan, and church bells have a way of keeping things tranquil on campus. I'll miss the wonderful intellectual discourse, watching the campus leaves change color each fall, building snowmen on the quad, watching those same trees bloom each spring, and staying up way too late with great friends and watching the sunrise over lake Michigan. Ahh, LUC, I miss you already. Farewell, you have truly lived up to the phrase 'alma mater'- my nurturing mother.
