This is a review of the CWU-Des Moines campus Masters of Science in Engineering Technology (MSET) program. This is an evening program for working professionals so many of the rating categories do not apply. The program on this campus is underfunded and under staffed. We are charged for labs that we never get to do since the facilities are not available on the Des Moines campus. Main campus does not provide the same support for the faculty and students as they would a student on main campus. We are basically second class citizens… Class choices are limited and lectures are uncoordinated and seem very unprepared since there is really only one professor and he is teaching a full load of classes at night and running all the administrative functions during the day. While I have learned a few things in this program, many of the students (undergrads and graduate) myself included, are just here to get the piece of paper more than learn anything. CWU main campus is a good school, I went there for my undergrad program, I was hoping for the same quality in their satellite campus programs. Unfortunately, I find myself very disappointed.
