Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
I received my undergraduate degree from Bethune-Cookman University in Spring of "09" and was accepted to Florida A&M University as a graduate student on a full scholarship (Thanks to the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Chanta Haywood) in Summer of "09". Wonderful institution to pursue a post-graduate education. I was enrolled at FAMU for only one year and it was the most amazing time of my time. I was drawn to the mission and history of success of faculty and graduates at FAMU. The professors are publishing articles, books and book chapters in major journals, are serving on national committees and boards and are winning awards and recognitions as experts in their fields. My professors were very knowledgeable of their field. It is not often I come across educators who are truly passionate about the nature of their profession and go above and beyond to ensure that their students are well educated. The staff of the school of Graduate studies were amazing. They treated me as if I were family. Absolutely no complaints I would definetely do it again if I had to. I cain't wait to be in a position to be a financial supportor of my beloved alma mater…GO FAMU!!! The finest institution in the land. :)
