I stumbled on this site and had to put in my two cents. I am the type of person who takes things like school, my education and career VERY seriously. (you know, a liberated independent woman) My FIDM Degree has helped me to have a successful career (not just some old boring job) in my field. It was always my dream to do events, marketing and promotions in the Fashion Industry. The job market for these types of positions is pretty competitive so you have to be on top of your game. My FIDM degree really helped to get my foot in the door for interviews and helped me to feel confident in my skillz. The online job lead database for Alumni is a really awesome tool. In fact, i found my current job (which i totally love)using it. Alumni network is also really supportive. FIDM, like most things in life is what you make of it. For me, it rocked.
