I haven't had a good time at eastern kentucky. throughout high school I had a great time with my friends, and was a social butterfly, and instead of going to UK like a lot of my friends did I decided to mix it up a bit and try out EKU thinking that I would have no problem making a new group of fun and friendly friends to go out with. I WAS WRONG, I tried to make friends all the time, and I am depressed in my 2nd semester because the few "buds" that I do have are no fun at all. If youre looking for somewhere to go and get a good education or live off campus with some already made friends this would be a great fit, but for me coming with no friends here I was shocked. First week I had a group of friends that were awesome and fun to be around and go out with, then they rushed a fraternity and I lost all contact with them because theyre so caught up in it. So in the end, if you want to go Greek this is a great place and you will have a blast, or if you are coming with already made friends it will be great, just don't come alone expecting to make gobs of new friends, this is coming from someone who gets a long with everyone and very friendly. Come at your own risk!!
