This school is an absolute waste of time and money. It has been a living nightmare from the anti-social student body, to lack of any extra curricular activities, to the fact that 95% of the staff is adjunct to the school. Ill give it this the curriculum is challenging, being an Architect major (I transferred from a different school) and being set back 2 years… I am repeating my freshman year, and it is quite the challenge. Other then that, if you have other options for transferring DO NOT COME HERE. They treat you as a freshman, I got only 11 out of 72 credits from my prior school. The faculty treats students as if they are a way lower entity then themselves, almost in an arrogant snooty matter.

The campus itself is falling apart completely and is a hodge-podge of terribly maintained buildings from the early 1900s. (not even decent architecture, the design buildings are a converted power plant…). On the campus tours they do not bring you into half of the buildings for that reason. My math class this semester is located literally in the mechanical room of the basement of a building. YES pipes and a boiler in the back corner of my class room.

The dorms are decent, but all set up in apartments and suites, so there is absolutely no sociality here. People go to class during the day and back to their dorms. ALl people do is hang out with their suites/apartments… Its quite cliquey here. The majority of the students are rude, arrogant, and VERY ANTI SOCIAL. People are almost afraid to make friends at this school.

The food is absolutely terrible. Greasy fattening and no healthy choices. Even the salad bar at the one miniature dining hall we have is disgusting. They close the dining halls on weekends as well so you either have to go off campus or starve.

95% of the professors at this school are adjuncts, meaning that they only teach one or two classes at Wentworth, and either work elsewhere or teach at other schools. This is terrible when you need extra help, cause the majority of them just come here for class, spend the inconveniently placed 2 hour "office" times then leave. My Design professor this semester teaches our class during her lunch break from her full time job…

There are absolutely no extra curricular activities. They attempt to have certain ones, but once again the fact that absolutely no one is social here, people do not hold meetings for the few clubs that we have. I joined the architecture club in september of last year. We had one meeting since. Its april now.

Transfers, this school will look at your prior schooling as a waste of time and as if it doesn't count. I am taking the same precalc WITH THE SAME TEXTBOOK, as I did in my old college. When I asked why it wouldn't transfer over they said well now its besides the point, just take it and finish it. What kind of answer is that? I repeated english, psychology, and a few other arch history courses that I TOOK ALREADY WITH THE SAME TEXT BOOKS.

The surrounding city is beautiful, I must give it that, although everything shuts down at like 8 pm on the week days.

Once again I transferred in here from a different university in NY for a change of scenery and a better education, and experiencing this school must have been the most miserable 9 months of my life. I even try to stay here on weekends to attempt to socialize. Its impossible, STAY AWAY FROM WENTWORTH. Its filled with the most miserable students faculty and staff you'll encounter. GO look at Northeastern next door… For a small amount more, you'll get a way better college experience. I regret my time here, and will be transferring out this fall. I couldn't be more disappointed and call Wentworth a bigger mistake on my part.
