This is to all who are looking to attend Keene State. BE AWARE!!! First, Freshmen are in the smallest rooms I have ever seen. They put three in a room. Way to small. For what you are paying, it's ridiculous… After Freshman year, there is no guarantee that you will have housing after that. They do a lottery because there is not enough housing for all students. You are on your own to find housing outside of college. Its expensive. Plus, they don't tell you until the end of August if you have housing, school starts at the end of August. What is that? The staff is nasty, and unwilling to help. As a senior with no housing, I found out that transfer students were housed before I was. My last year, and a transfer student got housing before me. UNBELIEVABLE!!! So many students are driving hours in their last years of college just to graduate… Don't you think they should give housing to students that have been attending for years? Again, It's all about the money… They know you are going to come back so you can graduate….

Classes, that's another problem. There are not enough classes to accommodate all the students, so you end up taking things you don't need. They say, "Just sign up for anything." Yes, they want you to be there for more then 4 years. More money in their pocket.
