Most of the students are friendly and considerate. There are also some faculty that are helpful and seem to really care about you and your educational success. Unfortunately, support staff and the majority of faculty are just awful. I had a very positive experience when I earned my first degree but I am leaving Tarleton after this semester. I leave school almost everyday discouraged and feeling awful. I have a 3.8 GPA, I am not saying these things because I am angry, I just have enough life experience to know that this is not the way college has to be. There are better choices for your educational dollar. Go some place where the professors really care about you. OH, and file your degree plan AND KEEP YOUR COPY, Tarleton is HORRIBLE about adding lots of things at the last minute to keep you there longer.

What TSU does have going for it…Stephenville, Texas is a great town. Yes it's small, but it is also clean, safe friendly and close to big shopping if you need it.
