Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I am so very thankful that I ended up attending Campbell University. I had been looking at a lot of other larger in-state Universities, such as NCSU and UNC. Campbell offers a wonderful teaching staff that challenges students to succeed in the World and really prepares everyone for the future. The Political Science program is first class and most students take advantage of hands on work and volunteer opportunities. For example, I was given the opportunity (and took it) to work on several political campaigns during the 2010 Mid-term elections. Students who are looking at attending Campbell must understand that by no means is this a "party school" but there are activities planned for students so they are never bored. Club sports, intramurals, and clubs are all widely available and welcoming. Campbell is a small school, and classes are small as well - but this is wonderful. My largest class has been 25 people and I always have the opportunity to talk to my professor one on one about any concern I have. It is great! The food on campus is pretty good, but do not expect a 5-star dining service. Campus is clean, welcoming, and beautifully manicured. I would never dream of going to any other school.
