I've no intention, really, of going in-depth, because I've only spent a year at GWU; it's an incomplete experience. That said, the number of reviews saying the students here are closeminded and hostile to those not of their faith, need to be addressed. I'm deist agnostic and while I don't go out of my way to tell people that, I've no had issues with those who do know. In fact, only one person responded negatively and it led to debate, not argument or exile. If anything, the strong faith of students here makes them more approachable. We may have doctrinal disagreements and they may admittedly attempt to convert me from time to time, but by no means have I been met with hostility. I assume, were the "they shun me!" comments true for different denominations, it would be worse for outsiders.
