If your a Disabled student or a Non-traditional age student, please for god sake and the sake of your wallet avoid SCSU like the Plague. SCSU dose nothing for Disabled students and for Non-Traditional Students. SCSU is the most cliquish University I have ever seen. If you ever seen cliques in High school, then SCSU's is a high schools version of a clique. If your not in with Student Government or Campus Greek, your a nobody on campus. Your treated like a nobody on campus. One thing about Southern is that they change their requirements so often, that no one graduates from Southern in 4 yrs, it's more like 5 to 6 yrs and vast majority become Super Seniors at Southern. One thing I have seen out of Southern is that people are closed minded and only care for those who are in their group such as if you work for housing or student life, your well known and popular. If your not in the popular group, your an outcast in their eyes. For those who are thinking or even considering about going to Southern, Be very careful, because this school has recently be hit with a sexual harassment suit and even a female student has been sexually assaulted on campus. If you want a Real University experience and feel as if your part of the university, part of the campus and be accepted, Go somewhere else. Southern is the most Cliquish State University in the State of Connecticut
