I
transferred here my sophomore year because the graphic design program
at my previous college was a joke. The education at
the U is really great, but I'm not a city
person, so I'm not really fond of the atmosphere. There's
a lot of construction on East Bank right now (supposedly
ending 2013, but who really knows?) and I find West
Bank to be kind of trashy. The saving grace is
St. Paul Campus (where my program is based)—it's kind of
secluded, but there's lots of greenery and it's a clam
place to be.
I was accepted to the UofM this year for the graduating class of 2017 and I will major in Graphic Design and Advertisement. Currently I am deciding either to attend this university or Syracuse in New York. I was wondering if the program is worth it and how are the dorms. Does the UofM have any connections with Walt Disney Studios, Pixar or any other career opportunities in the art world?
