Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
The Aviation department here is one of the best nation in the nation and provides you with all the resources you can ever think of. Flight training facilities are excellent; UND use the best possible aircrafts for training, and the avionics are advanced. All the aircrafts are well maintained. The reason why flight training here is cheaper than other collegiate flight programs is because UND does contract with major airlines (Air China and Eva Air), and it seems as if that's where they get most of their money. The extra-curricular activities are numerous, especially for aviation. We have chapters of big organizations such as Women in Aviation, EAA, etc. UND host a bunch of career fairs with representatives from well-established airlines. The ATC training here is good with top-class simulators same as those used by the FAA. Helicopter training is excellent.
