Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I haven't even been to this school for a full semester, so take what you will from that, but my experience at U of L so far has not been positive. I am from the city but didn't go to one of the major high schools, so I'm not a part of any of the major cliques. Making friends has been exceedingly difficult, and if you don't want to drink and go to parties busted by the police, there's basically nothing. If you're not in a fraternity or sorority, you'll feel like you're in the minority. Professors are fine, some better than others, and for the most part classes are vaguely challenging. I feel like the more integrated you get into a department, the better you get, but as far as GenEds go, it's sad. Prepare to be in a class made up 75% of people who just took it to fulfill a gen ed, and so have no interest in the actual class itself. So far I am looking into transferring. I wish I had gone out of state, because staying in Kentucky seems to be a black hole.
