A college eductation is essential if you expect to be competitive in today's job market. Trust me, you won't get your foot in the door without it. What you realize after college though is that it's just the ante to play the game, a line on a resume competing with many other resumes.

Have a plan/strategy for your college years that includes graduate or professional school. Study something that you like as an undergard but be disciplined enough to keep your grades up so that getting into a decent grad/professional program will be a viable option for you. You'll have many more options with an advanced degree from a top tier program than you will with one from a lesser school. Good luck!
