But you son is a student at Michigan, not you |
Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
My professors knew me by name and cared about my progress when I went to Michigan, but the university has changed. My son is currently a junior chemistry major. Not only do his professors not know his name, many don't even have office hours. He is taught almost entirely by graduate student instructors, who administer and grade his exams. Do your first year or two elsewhere, where you will have experts teaching you instead of running a lecture once a week. You will probably learn more, and you'll save a lot of money. Transfer students still get a "Michigan" degree.
