This review is coming from a guy who is a strong Christian but wants a college experience. I am going to be brutally honest about this school. This school feels like church camp. They come across as a new up and coming Christian school like a smaller Baylor. This is completely false. I will start by saying the only good things about this school are the professors. All of my professors are nice and caring. The school itself is easy. I graduated high school with a 3.1. I currently have a 3.6 here which will probably be a 3.8 at the end of the semester. There are many cons about this school. It feels as if you are forced to be a Christian. They have curfews and scan your ID if you come in to late. If you ever get caught drinking you are kicked off campus. Freshman dorms suck; the air conditioning is always broken and I have fallen asleep sweating many times. The fraternities and sororities here are cool and a good idea but they are only local they should allow big and real fraternities on campus but they don't because they want to make sure that nothing bad comes out of that. Yes, it is in Dallas but the absolute worst part of Dallas it is extremely ghetto. This school comes across as a smaller school than my high school. The student activities and the social life is pathetic everyone goes home on weekends. One activity we had was playing bingo as a Greek life Christmas party. Seriously? The faculties are nice but small. The gym is very small and crowded usually. It feels like high school all over again. The food in the cafe is horrendous. The burgers are terrible cheese falls off of pizza and they hardly ever have anything worth eating besides that. They rarely have grilled chicken. The sports teams aren't very great and the school spirit is pathetic. There is probably a total of 30 students at basketball games. Did I mention they don't have a football team? The campus is beautiful but it's always windy on the hill. I see the same people everyday. Most the people on this campus are music majors so you see a lot of v necks and skinny jeans and the hipster look. Chapel worship is great but the speakers usually bore me. The parking sucks. Freshman park at the bottom of a hill and walk a mile to there dorm. I know it sounds like I am ranting on DBU but I am just being honest so people that want a real college experience don't make the mistake I did. This college can be great for some people and I have met a lot of people here but I am transferring next year. Again I am just sharing my experience this college can be great for some people it just wasn't for me.

You, sir, are a complete douche. Go screw yourself because God doesn't love you.
Free speech is legal here in America, but please speak for yourself, not for God.
Just to clarify: the comment I just made addresses to the first response to the comment above. Who are we to tell someone "God doesn't love you."?!
This post is so true. Do not go to DBU
commentOverall I would rate this school a 4/5. However, if I'm being honest there are some marks off for reasons stated above. That said, the school staff is attentive and on the whole approachable. The curriculum is (mostly) comprehensive and clearly explained. To follow this australianwritings.net and get more skills about study task. While there are little things that could be improved here and there (as can always be), the quality of education is quite good value for the money.
