Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
The conservatory is a great place to be for those looking to go into the world of education or music therapy. As a performance major you must be extremely self motivated if you hope to have a job after BW. There are a lot of talented musicians but chances are that you will only be challenged by one or two in your studio. There is a huge gap between the performance and education majors as well, and it is difficult to bridge it and reach out to make friends in both paths. If you are looking for a school that will push you to be a true performer, be VERY careful about BW. Some of the faculty are phenomenal musicians, but their teaching skills are non existent. Before you decide to come here for performance make sure you have a lesson with that professor and go with your gut instinct. You can learn a lot here, but you have to know what you're getting into.
