A lot of people who talk about this school always focus on the commuters or the fact that we don't have a football team. Also, the fact of the matter is that this school is often not everyone's first choice (myself included). However, you will not gain shit from GMU if you keep thinking so closemindedly. My professors have been a pleasant surprise. Most are interested in students personally, and most are very willing to help if you're struggling. I can honestly say that Mason's level of spirit has done a complete 180 over the past couple of years. Everyone is beginning to gain a lot more pride on campus, and it definitely shows if you pay attention to the events we throw every season. The food is decent, nothing special, but stay away from Taco Bell.Overall, Mason's the sort of school where you GET what you GIVE. Be involved. Don't be smart ass. Then, it'll be a happier place.
