the good thing about chaminade is that it is located in hawaii, which really is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. the bad thing about it is pretty much everything else. imo - it is like a glorified high school rather than a college. staff and faculty are mostly unhelpful and under-qualified and treat the students like children to be babysat rather than adults. salaries for teachers here are very low which is part of the problem. anyone who is good at their job leaves for other universities. the employees left behind are trapped and bitter or are on a religious mission. if you want to go to a catholic college, there are way better options on the mainland.
