Curry College

Now listen, Do not, i repeat DO NOT go to curry college. Curry is not only the BIGGEST waste of money but you get absolutely NOTHING that you should receive from paying as much as you do. Countless amounts of students including myself and friends have all transferred to different universities. Why is Curry just so awful? Let me try and break it down.

1:Campus Life

Campus life here is a joke, seriously. NOTHING goes on. The most excitement you'll get is the once or maybe 2ce a semester dances, and even those aren't so great. Curry students are extremely snobby, and a lot of students frankly are whacked out of their mind. Now, let's get into the "party scene" since most college students do want that. The party scene is minimal to none. When I was a student, either everybody went home for friday-sat-sun or if you WERE on campus the "party scene" consisted of probably 6 guys and 3 girls in a dorm room and RA's would break it up instantaneously, some of the RA's were so bored they went out of their way to TRY and find something to hold against you. And EVERY time i would wake up in the morning there were holes in the wall, the ceiling tiles have collapsed, trash was dumped everywhere, profanity was sharpied into the wall, and the building smelt of vomit and garbage. It is literally the most miserable place. Curry back in the day apparently used to have frats, if the school STILL had frats I feel as if campus live would be a little better, apparently, the reason why frats were cancelled was because a girl got drunk and died. Tough luck, i could get drunk on the top floor of NCRH and fall out of a window, does that mean we should close down the whole building because of one persons very stupid decisions? I was depressed here and all my friends were equally as depressed and some of them unfortunately picked up bad habits from other students here. Overall, i give it a 0-10 for campus/social life.

Off campus life: Welcome to Milton, one of the best rated towns in MA right? wrong. Curry's location is AWFUL. Mattapan is just a hop, skip, and a leap away. Roxbury and Dorchester are also neighboring areas. The least safe areas. Students are CONSTANTLY mugged as soon as they leave campus. If you are not from the state of MA you could go to Boston, but you would need a car (have to be at least a sophomore) or rely on the garbage "shuttle bus".

PAL: short and sweet. biggest waste of money ever. i paid 10 grand extra to get babysat. such a joke, i would go to PAL, get asked if i had any questions with my work, then get rescheduled for another appointment next week

What my high school teachers had to say about Curry:

Everyone there's a bunch of snobs. If I knew you were going there I would've told you not to go. What are you paying so much money for? It's a complete and total rip off

Professors: I will give Curry this, Some of the professors are really good people. Doctor Keighton and the English prof. who wears the suit with a boston red sox hat (can't think of the name right now) were two of my absolute favorites. The English Professor I just mentioned had a huge impact on my life for the better, he really is an incredible guy. I could always rely on him for anything. For the most part the majority of professors are pretty thorough and will work with you if you ask

That's about all I got so far. 110% not recommended. Save your money and save a huge future headache. Don't buy into these scam artists.
