I attended HPU one semester, and I am transferring because of the poor academics. I feel as though my time there was a complete waste. Go to HPU if you want a mediocre education with great amenities. In addition to the less than stellar academics, the city of High Point is scary and unsafe. Some of the students are nice and down to earth. There is a concentration of wealth and privilege amongst the students though.
