When I applied for this school we got several staff members who essentially talked about how the school was going to prepare you for the real world and get you a job instantly. They also talked me and my mother into getting a student loan, assuring us that we would be able to pay it off in no time.

And so there I was, fresh out of high school and enjoying college life with no worries at all. Until I graduated.

When Ms. Kantor told us to "bug Job Placement", I should have realized it as the first warning sign.

Every time I called my case was assigned to a different person. I didn't get anything until 6 months after I graduated, where I managed to get a internship that lasted for two weeks. Sometimes the staff would send me on job interviews that had nothing to do with my major whatsoever. Even the person interviewing me was confused as to why they sent a graphic design student to an accounting agency.

I have called job placement for at least 2 years after graduating before they finally told me to just get a job at Gamestop.

Really.

I am stuck paying off a 22,000 student loan. I spent two years struggling with this school to get placed into a job for them to tell me to get a minimum wage retail job.
