Just finished my first year and love it at JSU. It's known for being a great teacher's school, and I think it is. We just got a new President, so it will be interesting to see what direction the school goes. It really is a very friendly campus. Football and band are really great here.

A lot of poor kids here on aid or working their way through school. Enrollment has been dropping with cuts to financial aid nationally so it's hard to keep students enrolled. That's sad because it's a great little school. They really need to market and build it up. But it's very nice here.
