Major: Pharmacy (This Major's Salary over time)
The atmosphere of Prospective Student activities was absolutely amazing. I felt as though I fit in and that everyone was friendly and kind. This entire view was shattered by October of my freshman year. I found it difficult to make friends or to join clubs. I reached out kindly to multiple people, but I was almost always ignored or brushed aside. The only people who welcomed me into their group was Campus Fellowship, which is a friendly-seeming cult bent on gaining followers to their exact views on Christianity. Also, I'd had mental health issues before, but they became five times worse at Drake. I ended up failing two classes and their were weeks at a time when I would only leave my room to get food because by March I had completely given up on fitting in and finding my "niche." I ended up medically withdrawing from DU after my freshman year due to my mental health and now have to be partially hospitalized due to this terrible experience. Do NOT go to Drake unless you were already popular in high school. Drake pretty much ruined my life.
