I chose to go to Western randomly. I had never visited the school because it was too far away (I am from Victoria BC. Naturally, this made me nervous until I actually moved into rez. Since day one, UWO has been my home. This doesn't mean that I haven't had hard spots to work through. This is typical and it is unrealistic to expect to find the "perfect" university. Here are five reasons why I love Western.

1) It's fun and there is spirit.

2) teachers are accesible not matter what class size. In first year Poli Sci I was shocked when the head prof responded to my email within 20 minutes!

3) Rez life is special

4) The gym is very large and offers free fitness classes to students all day

5) It's a community
