FSU is meh, but it is not really FSU's fault that is so meh. College in general is becoming a waste of time since schools arent very good at giving you the skills to do whatever your trying to do in life. FSU is one of the better universities in Florida in certain aspects since it has some really good programs, but in general it is not much different than most other public schools.

The good about FSU is that its a very nice looking campus, interesting students, good football team, decent bus system, lots of places nearby to eat, cheap to attend/live by and there is a lot of people that go there. The bad about FSU is that its hard to find work here, the administration is really stupid, some of the classes are a waste of time, the surrounding area is kind of ghetto, there is no real bar on campus, the student organizations/activities are really boring, and the school is way too big.

I dont think the grad school is really worth it at FSU. Luckily my program is online and I can continue taking classes if I move, but going to class in real life is a waste of time. Even being at the school is kind of a waste since the jobs on campus are very limited and dont pay that great. Its also very hard to communicate with the faculty and staff here since people have a billion things going on and barely any time to spend with you.

I think going to FSU for undergrad is fine since it seems like its very fun to younger people. The problem with FSU/any major public university is that it kind of caters really hard to those who want to blow a bunch of money on bullshit and isnt really about education. You will do more learning on your own than in the classroom. The school feels more like a amusement park/vacation town more than a place that is about giving people opportunities and helping people learn.

Overall, FSU is slightly better than your average university just because the social experience has a lot of potential to take you some places. I really wanted to go to FSU for a long time and am glad that I went, but to be honest, the place is fucking weird. I hope employers start to realize how overrated college is, since there is not much that people do at a university that is really essential to bettering society.
