NDSU has been a major disappointment to me. Honestly, I cannot believe I made it this far. Unless you want to drink yourself into oblivion or spend your money eating out, there is virtually nothing to do outside of school. Many of my fellow students that I have talked to are severely depressed and have contemplated taking their own lives because of this place. I personally am struggling with depression because of my time here. The quality of education here is an absolute joke. I have studied hard, done alright academically (3.0 GPA) and still feel like I have learned nothing. The professors are arrogant, fail to teach the material effectively and treat you like you are nothing. I feel guilty for using my family's money at this university.

If you are a high school student considering this university, I want you to do yourself a life changing favor and cross this place off the list. That is, unless you want an depressing, impersonal, mind numbingly boring college experience. There are so many other options out there and I would feel terrible if you ended up selecting this university. Remember, at NDSU you are a serial number, not a real person.
