As someone who is seriously considering George Mason, I would love if you could clarify. Now that you mention it, I was a little off-put at their shunning of me taking community college classes before my arrival, and would force me to apply as a transfer student for taking a single class. What exactly happened that made you get "stuck" in GM? Thanks! |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I am ending my second year of studies here, at Mason, and the main thing I'd have to say is that I am extremely disappointed and angry. If I had the chance to transfer, I'd do it right away. My story is too long to be exposed here, but to anyone who reads this and thinks about applying to this university, don't. They just focus on how to keep you stuck in school in order to take your money. The university is low in world ranking, as well as in the U.S. They do, however, have many great professors, which I am happy I have met. But aside from the positive experience with some of the tutors, I don't have anything positive to say. I am tired of Mason, I regret that I picked it. Don't pick Mason unless it's among your only options!
