I took a different path to get to the University of Cincinnati, since I originally was at Ohio University and transferred. Compared to a smaller school like OU, the University of Cincinnati is honestly a dream come true for students who love a bigger city school. There are always tons of events going on and so much opportunity to get involved, the classes are fairly sized and so far my professors have all been outstanding. For freshmen worried that it's going to be "high school all over again", don't believe that for a second. The campus is huge and people are friendly and you can just do your own thing. If you aren't a huge partier there's no stigma against you at all. The campus is just alive in a way that I haven't seen at other schools, and I honestly am in love with it. You definitely get out of it what you put in, but I think that pretty much applies to most above-average colleges. Be proud to be a Bearcat!!
