To say Eastern Michigan University is an utter waste of time would be offensive to the concept of valuing one's time and money. The staff in every department are completely inept. No one knows what they are doing and consequently are never able to provide accurate information. If you took the lowest quartile of the mentally retarded and employed them at EMU, you wouldn't even begin to understand what a shit-hole this "school" is. They are so completely incapable of basic concepts, such as finance, that they had to sell their parking lots because they couldn't afford to pay their instructors. They've completely dismembered women's sports, to the extent that there are still ongoing title IX lawsuits. You would learn more from lighting your money on fire and pissing all over it. Despite the fact that the graduation rate is a measly 40% and retention is only 70% (according to FAFSA), unless you're rich or a masochist (por que no los dos?), or too stupid to get accepted into ANY and I mean ANY other institution, they will gladly take your money and offer you nothing but bitter resentment in return. They will accept anyone, for any reason, because they are desperate for money. You could get hit by a bus and have a more meaningful experience than ruining your life at (quite possibly) the worst institution in the United States. Go to DeVry. Go to Phoenix Online.
