Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
There is excellent research at U of M. If you want to be a part of it, tell them you are going for your PhD. They will not waste resources on someone that will only be there two years, and taking classes during that time. Getting into a research group is not admittance as much as purchase of your available time, and a good portion of your free time in addition. The professors will work you hard and expect a lot of you; that's what they're there for, that's supposedly what you're there for.
