This university is really mixed regarding both students and faculty. In the music department, some faculty are really friendly, approachable, and helpful. Others, despite being really friendly, are not the least bit helpful. As for students, the population is mixed—some are very friendly; some are very arrogant, snooty, and hard to approach. A word of warning for anyone considering the MSU school of music—it is a small place, and everyone tends to get involved in your private life and affairs…
