It amazes me that even on the East Coast that people recognize Kalamazoo College as a top notch school. As a MD/PhD student, I am constantly being challenged to think out side the box—and my broad experiences at Kalamazoo are clearly essential to my successes now. If you consider that K is a school of ~1,300 students—all of whom make their own individual education plans—it is impressive that there are at least 5 students currently in the PhD program with me here at Yale.
