Pros: It's a nice college with a laid back student body and friendly, and guys don't mind being outnumbered by the ladies. There is always something going on in the city of Charleston and the social life is pretty decent. Even though the school doesn't have a football team, there is plenty of school spirit around campus. Cons: There aren't too many problems with the college. I should stress that diversity is lacking at CofC, with asians and hispanics only taking up 2 percent of the student population. Make sure you look for housing early because dorm spaces are limited and finding an apartment in downtown Charleston can be expensive.
