I transferred to the College of Charleston from the Midwest and absolutely love it. People are very friendly. There is always something to do: plenty of clubs to join, Greek life, clubs, restaurants, bars, beaches… We have a new gym that has a flat screen television with cable for every treadmill! All of my professors have been passionate about their fields. ***If you're considering the hospitality and tourism management program, CofC is a great place to study. The professors are wonderful and very helpful. There are PLENTY of tourism and hospitality jobs (also including retail and restaurants of course) and many offer not only pay but also college credit. Take a tour of the school and you will most likely fall in love.
