Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
There are tons of things to do in the surrounding areas besides go to parties; you just need to look for them. Don't be afraid to venture out past Harrisonburg. Check out Natural Bridge, various local hiking/recreation areas, numerous national parks, and much more all within an hour of campus. Make sure you find out how to get to Blue Hole!Parking can be tough (especially with parking tickets), but you can easily avoid all the headaches by taking the bus to class. The bus is a quick, easy, and free way to get from your off-campus apartments to campus, and it usually drops you off right in front of your building. Finally, be active. JMU has a wealth of clubs that will give you opportunities you wouldn't otherwise have. For instance, I didn't find out about the Caving Club until after I graduated. It sounds like it could be pretty cool.
