So I came to a Purple and Gold day for freshman, all these "cool" kids attended and seemed like a normal school. Kids who were fun, friends and the mean ones. Yet, the purple and gold days are NOTHING like the real days attending ONU. If you arn't of a Nazarene faith then you are excluded and questioned. I am Catholic Christian there for they questioned me all the time! Im from a public high school yes i love god and my faith but this school shoves it down your throat. I wish someone REAL told me how it was, I transferred out thanksfully and my credits barely transfer, they try to keep you there for your money. Its all MOMMY DADDY kids who their entire family attended olivet and the teachers all know their life. I wish I knew earliar.. Yet, if you want an INTENSE cant be yourself or express yourself then this is for you.

I am very sorry that this was your experience at Olivet. I can honestly say that not all of us are the type of student that you have described. I am the first in my family to attend Olivet and I am not Nazarene. While I will agree with you that the Nazarene tradition is pushed very hard, I do not think that you are wrong in what you believe either. I wish you had a different experience here, but I wish you best of luck in your future endeavors.
