Purdue is the place to be for accelerating in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Although the courses are very challenging and difficult, it prepares us for our desired career and gives us an edge in the hiring stage. One nice thing about ECE is that you pick the courses yourself. You must take the required courses for the major, but then you are free to design your own emphasis. For example, my emphasis in Electrical Engineering is Digital Signal Processing. It’s exactly what I want to do, and I am doing it!
