Major: Chemical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
At Purdue, the main draw for out-of-staters, and most recognized program is engineering. It is an extremely demanding program, and difficult to complete. Don't come here expecting fun all the time if you're an engineering major…it's a lot of work. It pays off in the end, wiht one of the most respected names in the industry. In contrast, the Liberal arts program is pretty lax, and not widely recognized…that's what IU is for. The social life here is great, but harder to be involved unless your are greek. But with one of the largest greek systems in the country, there's a place for almost anyone.
