"Close-minded" is the first thing you can hear about Murray State if ask any international student. Murray is a typical southern village with typical villagers - afraid of everything outside Kentucky, very afraid of international students, especially from Muslim countries. The only place you can talk to people in Murray is a church. By the end of the semester, every international student I knew here was going to some kind of church just in order to meet people because otherwise no one would speak with them.If you aren't Christian, DO NOT come to Murray, you will not make any friends here, nor have any interesting lifetime.
