Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
Mount Holyoke is not all that it is cracked up to be. Mostly girls are here because they did not get into "better" schools like Amherst, Brown, Yale, etc. The atmosphere feels like summer camp, and the class setting is very much like high school in some cases. Some profs are not good at all, and assign a lot of busy work. It is especially over crowded right now, and difficult to get into classes. There is a PE requirement which no one likes, and it is virtually impossible to get into "interesting" PE courses such as Yoga until you are a senior. There is no social life, and the town of S. Hadley is very, very small. For entertainment (and boys) you have to take the free bus to one of the other 4 schools in the area, but that can be cumbersome. Also, you have to like the East Coast to enjoy the school and people here. Lots of rich girls as well. Some really enjoy it here, but it is in NO WAY worth all the money.
