My view on Keene State is slightly slanted by the fact that I live within in 30 minutes of campus and have for some time. It has the nickname of Kinda Sorta College (KSC). It has an exceptionally beautfiul campus and facilities. Surrounding Keene is okay, too. The downfalls, I feel, are the lack of intellectual rigor, and half-hearted attempts at teaching by SOME faculty. It is DEFINATELY a drinking school, social life is the priority for over half of the student body, and in many classrooms it is still perceived as "uncool" to be intelligent. Besides the in-state students, tons of kids are from CT and they seem to be carbon copies. KSC may be a good school for you, if you know what you're there for and need a quite environment with a place to get wild.
